I reckon that’s an idea whose time has come. Yeah … fax machines are cheap but if you could just open up a browser, upload your document and shoot off a fax, wouldn’t that be better?

I love sending faxes this way because I just can’t be bothered with fax machine hassles (paper jams, crooked paper feeds, etc.) and it’s cheap-as-chips! I sent an 8-page fax recently and it cost me .95. I often send faxes to other side of the world so I don’t have to worry about getting the dialing sequence right or paying extra for a long-distance call, etc.
Here’s how it works: you buy "fax credit" (the cheapest package is $14.14 for up to 111 pages) and spend-down the credits as you send faxes.
